Description
The goal of my project was to eliminate construction and demolition waste, which makes the â…” of the total waste in the Czech Republic. To eliminate this waste I will bring leftover buildings to life, and extend current living spaces, so people will not need to move out, and acquire new spaces which will increase the waste production.
Impact
This project was a small scale experiment to analyze how the mycelium will fulfil different spaces, and allow the extension of existing spaces.
Later on, I plan to experiment on a larger scale with mycelium. Furthermore, The Idea for the future is to replace the current living materials with mycelium; due to its many properties, and mainly its eco friendliness.
