Waste generation & recycling-old

Description

This project is to discuss the importance of eliminating waste and how this can be achieved by reusing every material available in the construction of a neighbourhood. Eliminating waste is important for several reasons. Construction waste is a significant contributor to landfills, and by reducing the amount of waste produced, we can reduce the demand for landfill space. Additionally, many construction materials are renewable resources, and by reusing them, we can help to conserve these resources for future generations. Finally, eliminating waste can also help to reduce the cost of construction by reducing the need to purchase new materials. To achieve the goal of eliminating waste in the construction of a neighbourhood, all materials from the demolition of existing structures on the site should be carefully salvaged and reused in the construction of new buildings. To further reduce waste and environmental impact, the construction of the neighbourhood can also incorporate sustainable design practices. This may include the use of renewable energy sources, such as solar panels, as well as the incorporation of green spaces and the use of sustainable materials in construction. By following these steps, the neighbourhood can be constructed in an environmentally responsible and cost-effective manner.
